We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of GST compliance, TDS provisions, and day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and support the finance team with accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities1. GST (Goods & Services Tax)Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return, etc.). Reconcile GST input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B and purchase registers. Ensure timely payment of GST and resolve notices/query responses. Assist in GST audits and maintain all GST-related documentation. Manage e-invoice and e-way bill generation (if applicable). 2. TDS (Tax Deducted at Source)Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS as per Income Tax Act. Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.). Generate and issue Form 16 / Form 16A to employees and vendors. Monitor TDS compliance and coordinate for corrections, revisions, and notices. Maintain vendor compliance data including PAN, GSTIN, and TDS applicability. 3. Accounting & Financial Management: Handle day-to-day accounting in Tally/ERP (sales, purchase, bank, expenses). Prepare monthly financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow. Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and journal entries. Monitor accounts payable/receivable and follow-up for payments. Assist with audits (internal, statutory, and tax). 4. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Prepare MIS reports for management. Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines and maintain proper record-keeping. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in accounting with strong GST & TDS knowledge. Hands-on experience with Tally ERP Good understanding of Indian taxation laws. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting. Preferred AttributesExperience handling GST/TDS notices and assessments. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. Strong communication and coordination skills.
