Project Engineer

Job Summary Responsible for engineering roles for projects of Solar. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically sound Solar Site Engineer to oversee the execution of solar power projects at the site level. The role requires ensuring project implementation in accordance with technical specifications, timelines, safety standards, and client requirements. The Site Engineer acts as the liaison between the client, EPC contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective quality control and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. Primary responsibilities 1.1.  Monitor and supervise day-to-day construction and installation activities at the site. 1.2.  Ensure compliance with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contractual obligations. 1.3.  Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth execution. Documentation as per site and project requirements. 1.4.  Maintain documentation and other records as per project requirements. 1.5.  Track project progress against schedule and highlight any delays or bottlenecks. 1.6.  Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports. 1.7.  Coordinate project documentation, including site diaries, inspection reports, and issue logs. 1.8.  Knowledge of IEC, IS standards used in electrical and particularly in solar PV industry. 1.9.  Basic understanding of SCADA, monitoring systems, and I&C processes 1.10. Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.   Requirements and Qualifications1.1.  Min. 1 Year of Experience in Solar Plant Site Engineering. 1.2.  Minimum Qualification: Degree/ Diploma in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Solar Only. 1.3.  Excellent knowledge of System Sizing and Electrical Calculations 1.4.  Knowledge of Solar PV System functionality 1.5.  Experience in site supervision of Rooftop and Ground Mounted system. 1.6.  Knowledge of working in Battery Energy storage system. 1.7.  Strong verbal and communication skills. 1.8.  Good communication and interpersonal skills 1.9.  Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure 1.10. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities     Location·      Base office will be at Ahmedabad, Gujarat or as discussed in Interview. Travelling and Deputation anywhere in India as per Project and Business requirement.
