Candidates from Mumbai or Pune will be preferred About The Opportunity Operating at the forefront of the Information-Technology services sector , our team designs modern cloud data platforms that power advanced analytics, AI and enterprise decision-making. You’ll spearhead the build-out of scalable lakehouse architecture on AWS while championing engineering excellence, automation and data governance—driving real-time, high-integrity insight for global customers. Role & Responsibilities Architect and deliver end-to-end data solutions on AWS (Lambda, S3, Glue/Snowflake, DBT) with Apache Airflow orchestration, ensuring reliability, scalability and cost optimisation. Establish robust data cataloguing and governance frameworks that accelerate discovery and compliance. Translate complex business requirements into clear, testable technical designs in partnership with product, analytics and ML teams. Produce exemplary documentation—playbooks, run-books and design diagrams—for seamless knowledge transfer. Build automated CI/CD & IaC pipelines (Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions) that enforce quality gates and enable rapid, safe releases. Mentor and lead engineers, instilling best practices in Python, SQL and lakehouse design while fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have 7+ yrs hands-on Data Engineering, including 3+ yrs technical team leadership. Deep expertise in AWS, Python & SQL; proven production Snowflake experience. Mastery of modern lakehouse patterns (Delta/Iceberg) and data-modelling best practices. Strong Git-centric workflow knowledge with code-review and branching strategies. Preferred Production-grade Apache Airflow DAG development & optimisation. SnowPro Core certification or equivalent cloud data credential.
