Lead Cloud Engineer

We are looking for a *highly skilled Lead Cloud Engineer (AWS)* to design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technologist with deep expertise in AWS services, strong DevOps experience, and a proven ability to lead complex cloud initiatives end-to-end.

*Key Responsibilities*

- *Cloud Architecture & Design:*

- Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient AWS-based architectures.

- Define and document cloud best practices, standards, and patterns.

- *Infrastructure as Code (IaC):*

- Develop and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.

- *Automation & Optimization:*

- Automate cloud operations, deployments, and monitoring.

- Optimize AWS usage and costs through right-sizing, reserved instances, and tagging strategies.

- *Security & Compliance:*

- Implement security controls using AWS Security Hub, IAM, GuardDuty, and KMS.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.

- *Monitoring & Troubleshooting:*

- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

- Troubleshoot performance, availability, and scalability issues in production environments.

- *Team Leadership:*

- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and DevOps specialists.

- Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth cloud adoption and operations.

Required Skills & Experience*

- 10–12 years of total experience, with *6+ years in AWS cloud engineering*.

- Strong hands-on expertise with core AWS services — EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, and IAM.

- Deep understanding of *networking (VPC design, VPN, Transit Gateway, Load Balancers, Route 53)*.

- Proficiency in *Linux/Unix administration* and shell scripting.

- Experience in *containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)*.

- Knowledge of *DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines* (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).

- Experience with *security, monitoring, and governance* in cloud environments.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: ₹488,724.37 - ₹1,885,826.43 per year
