Product Designer – Automation Hardware

We’re looking for a detail-oriented mechanical engineer and SolidWorks expert to design next-gen robotic workstations for Alex. You’ll work at the intersection of design, manufacturability, and integration — building hardware systems that bring intelligent automation to life across pharma, chemical, and industrial workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Hardware Testing:

Verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of hardware components through systematic testing procedures. Identify defects, ensure compliance with specifications, and collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve issues.

• 3D Design & Engineering:
• Design 3D models and assemblies of modular robotic systems.
• Translate product concepts into detailed engineering drawings.
• Optimize designs for precision, durability, and automation integration.
• Ensure manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and adherence to safety standards.
• Collaboration & Prototyping:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support rapid prototyping and iterative testing.
• Integrate feedback from testing into design improvements.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of mechanical design experience (preferably in robotics/automation)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering drawing standards
• Experience with electromechanical integration and industrial parts
• Strong understanding of materials, tolerancing, and production workflows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹311,038.58 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
