Lead Backend and AI-ML Engineer

· Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript

· Experience in backend development, especially building APIs and scalable services 

· Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and its application in building and deploying generative AI solutions

· Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face Transformers)

· Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch

· Understanding of probability, statistics, and machine learning algorithms

· Very good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g.,PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)

· Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS, also Azure or GCP)

· Knowledge of cloud-native development, serverless functions, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD

· (Nice to Have) Experience with computer vision tasks or multimodal models

· Familiarity with the full web stack, including RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and performance optimization

· Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

· Excellent collaboration and communication abilities

· Solid understanding of OOP principles

· Detail-oriented and quality-focused

· Excellent written and spoken English

· Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant field

· Fluency in English is not a strict requirement. While we prioritize technical expertise and problem-solving ability above all else, strong English communication skills are considered a plus and can be helpful for collaboration.

What will you do:

· Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code

· Eventually lead a team on our core product, Conducto

· Design and develop backend services using Nest.js and/or Python-based frameworks

· Build and deploy applications that integrate LLMs and LangChain

· Prototype and fine-tune machine learning models based on project needs

· Use AWS to deploy and scale backend services and databases

· Work on diverse, AI-driven projects across industries (e.g., NLP, data processing, document automation)

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust features

· Contribute to process automation, tooling, and infrastructure improvements

· Stay up to date with the latest in AI/LLM advancements
