We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Assistant Vice President- Analytics Principal responsibilities Produce analytical / data asset prototypes and work with stakeholders to define requirements, definitions, and objectives. Supporting the design and development of data assets, including data analysis and transformation logic. Applying advanced analytics to portfolio data, especially in data remediation and improving data quality, completeness, and consistency. Applying business and data design principles, risk management, and technology architecture when interacting with delivery partners. At times deputizing for Product Owners in the oversight of the change plan for data requirements in the assigned Agile POD including prioritization of backlogs. Acting as ambassadors in ensuring credit data definitions are appropriately documented and applied. Providing guidance and advice on technology and big data. Collaborating with various stakeholder groups to ensure the availability and quality of data. Providing support for troubleshooting and root cause assessment of data issues. Proactively managing the transition of data assets to production state and ensuring effective embedment. Requirements You should be a subject matter expert with a strong understanding of Credit and Lending processes with between 6-10 years of experience. Hands-on experience with advanced programming languages (e.g., Python or Pyspark) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Qliksense) is necessary. Your role will require expertise in data management, analytics, and a knowledge of large company structures, values, and processes. Proven experience in leading delivery across diverse environments and managing stakeholders is essential. Key skills for this role include effective communication, virtual team management, data analysis, agile methodology, and stakeholder management. A solid understanding of the use of credit models (regulatory, decision, pricing) within the Credit & Lending journey. Experience in managing stakeholders and using Agile tools like JIRA & Confluence is beneficial. Educated to master s standard or equivalent experience (Desired) Industry recognized technical certifications (Desired) Candidate with Risk Management/Finance/Banking knowledge & experience (Desired) Evidence of self-development across several disciplines Proven track record of performance within HSBC
