Job Title: AWS Data Engineer Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using AWS services. Key Responsibilities Design and Implement Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and other AWS services. Data Storage and Management: Manage data lakes on AWS S3, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval. ETL Processes: Automate ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS Step Functions and Apache Airflow. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists to optimize machine learning models on AWS SageMaker. Data Security: Ensure data security and compliance with AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management) and KMS (Key Management Service) policies. Performance Tuning: Optimize performance of data processing and storage solutions. Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on AWS services. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, RDS (Postgres, MySql). Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Certified Data Engineer
