Lead Analytics Engineer

Job Summary:

Client is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to Serve as the technical lead within the Analytics Engineering & Delivery team. This resource is responsible for designing and delivering scalable analytics solutions using Power BI (Fabric), Tableau, and cloud-native platforms. You will also provide architectural guidance, mentor engineers, and ensure technical consistency across projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead development of dashboards, semantic models, and curated datasets.
• Design scalable data solutions using dimensional modeling and cloud compute.
• Mentor team members on code quality, performance, and visualization standards.
• Conduct solution reviews and ensure alignment with governance and best practices.
• Collaborate with data and platform teams to build performance, reusable data products.
• Apply advanced DAX, LOD, and SQL for optimized analytics logic.
• Implement version control and support agile delivery processes.
• Translating business needs into technically sound, scalable solutions

Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 4+ years of hands-on BI development with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Expertise in semantic modeling, dimensional design, and cloud data platforms.
• Proficiency in DAX, LOD expressions, SQL, Python/R, and data prep tools.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, and modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and perceptual design principles.
• Strong communication skills and experience in agile environments.
