Lead Analytics Engineer

What You’ll Do

As a Lead Analytics Engineer, you will:

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations) to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data solutions including data models, curated datasets, dashboards, and experiments.
• Engineer production-grade, scalable data pipelines using tools like dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, and Python, incorporating best practices in version control, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Design data products supporting supply chain, fulfillment, and operational analytics — driving insight into inventory, shipping, order workflows, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Lead the design of semantic layers and data models that empower analysts and self-service BI tools like Looker or Power BI.
• Collaborate in an agile product team, participate in backlog grooming, and deliver MVPs iteratively to drive early impact.

What You’ll Bring

• 9+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or analytics engineering roles, ideally in a fast-paced eCommerce or tech environment.
• Required experience delivering data solutions in at least one of the following areas:
• Supply Chain Analytics
• Product Fulfillment, Order Management, or Manufacturing Analytics
• Proven experience in:
• SQL (strong proficiency)
• At least one programming language: Python (preferred), R, or Scala
• Data transformation tools like dbt and orchestration tools like Airflow
• Cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Building reliable, performant, and maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Hands-on experience creating self-service BI dashboards and semantic models using Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with microservice architectures, APIs, and real-time data processing is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You can translate business problems into data solutions.
