Role Overview:
Lead Acquisition Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Chef Acquisition:
Develop and execute strategies to attract top private chefs across the UK and US.Pipeline Management:
Own the chef acquisition funnel from lead generation through to registration.Process Optimisation:
Continuously refine acquisition strategies for efficiency and conversion.Data & Reporting:
Track acquisition metrics, analyse performance, and report on progress.Collaboration:
Work cross-functionally with Chef Support, Marketing, and Operations to align acquisition efforts with business goals.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in talent acquisition, sales, growth, or partnerships, ideally within food/hospitality or marketplace startups.
- Proven track record of hitting acquisition or sales targets.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Extreme ownership - you are a self-starter who loves to take responsibility and deliver results that speak for themselves
- Strong written and spoken English skills – able to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Strong bias to action - you have a 'can do' attitude and are quick to take action to test things or solve problems rather than overthinking or overcomplicating things
- Strong sense of urgency - you’ll be working in a fast-growing startup that’s launching in the US market. Speed of execution is absolutely essential.
- Comfortable conducting outreach and sales calls — skilled at building rapport, qualifying leads, and understanding client needs.
- Passion for food, chefs, or the hospitality industry is a big plus!
