Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our manufacturing team as a Laser Cutting Machine Operator & AutoCAD Draftsman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings in AutoCAD and operating our newly installed laser cutting machine. Candidates with experience in plasma cutting or other CNC-based cutting machines are also welcome.

Key Responsibilities:

● Create and modify 2D part drawings using AutoCAD based on design and production requirements

● Operate and maintain the laser cutting machine, ensuring smooth and efficient cutting operations

● Use nesting software for laser cutting optimization

● Interpret technical drawings and material specifications accurately

● Coordinate with the production team for timely execution of cutting schedules

● Maintain machine logs, monitor performance, and report issues or downtime

● Ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy of cut parts

● Follow safety and maintenance procedures rigorously

Preferred Skills and Experience:

● Experience operating laser or plasma cutting machines

● Proficient in AutoCAD (2D) drafting

● Familiar with nesting and laser cutting software (e.g., ProNest, Cypcut, SigmaNEST, or similar)

● Good knowledge of materials, sheet thicknesses, and tolerances

● Basic understanding of production planning and lean manufacturing.

● Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer use

● Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills

Location & Work Environment:

● This position is based at our production plant in Urla Industrial Area, Raipur

● On-site, hands-on role with interaction across shop floor and production planning team

Salary:

Competitive and based on experience
