Description
Responsibilities: Lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications using the Laravel framework. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code following Laravel best practices and coding standards. Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and other web services. Work with databases (primarily MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) to design efficient schemas and write optimized queries. Implement front-end components using technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and potentially Vue.js, React, or similar frameworks. Utilize version control systems (Git) effectively for collaboration and code management. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application stability. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across different layers of the application. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers. Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions. Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and technical skills. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in Laravel and web development technologies. Ensure the security and performance of developed applications. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Laravel Developer. Extensive experience with the Laravel framework and its core components (Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, Artisan console, routing, middleware, etc.). Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus. Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs. Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and potentially front-end frameworks/libraries (Vue.js, React, Angular). Proficient with Git and version control workflows. Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest). Understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles. Experience with server management and deployment processes (e.g., using tools like Forge, Docker, CI/CD pipelines). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
