Landscape Architect

Experience: 5 - 6 Yrs

Location: Mumbai

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Architect with 5–6 years of professional experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing high-quality landscape projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, and institutional developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop landscape design proposals based on client briefs, site conditions, and budgets
• Prepare detailed landscape drawings, layouts, planting plans, hardscape details, and BOQs
• Coordinate with architects, civil consultants, MEP teams, and contractors for seamless project execution
• Conduct site analysis, site visits, and inspections to ensure design intent is achieved
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion
• Assist in client presentations, design reviews, and approvals
• Ensure compliance with local by-laws, environmental norms, and sustainability practices
• Guide and mentor junior designers and interns
• Stay updated with latest landscape trends, materials, and technologies

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from a recognized institution 5–6 years of relevant professional experience in landscape design and execution
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory), working knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion/Enscape, and Adobe Suite preferred
• Sound knowledge of softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and lighting concepts
• Good understanding of plant species suitable for Indian climatic conditions
• Excellent design sensibility, detailing skills, and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects
• Exposure to project coordination and site execution in Mumbai or similar urban environments
• Knowledge of sustainable landscape practices and water-sensitive design
