Laboratory Technician

Role Overview:

Lab Chemist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform 

  wet chemical analysis

   for:

• FFA (%)

• Moisture (%)

• TMI (Total Moisture & Impurities)

• Iodine Value (IV)

• Saponification Value

• Maintain 

  daily batch quality records

   and lab logs
• Assist in preparing 

  Certificates of Analysis (COA)

   and 

  Technical Data Sheets (TDS)

   for products
• Monitor and ensure product quality during production batches
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment
• Identify and report anomalies in process output
• Work with the production team to improve consistency and minimize losses

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry or Oil Technology

• Experience with 

  oleochemicals / oils / fats / biodiesel lab testing

   is a plus
• Strong understanding of 

  titration methods

   and basic oil lab protocols
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership of lab processes
• Basic computer skills (Excel, document formatting)
• Willingness to work in a startup environment and grow with the company

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, 6 days/week
• Factory-based (no remote work)
