Role Objective The Accounts Executive will be responsible for end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, bank coordination, and financial discipline for a process-industry–focused company engaged in manufacturing, EPC projects, and trading of chemical/by-products . The role requires hands-on execution , not just supervision—covering bookkeeping, filings, reconciliations, and active coordination with banks, consultants, and auditors. Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (Tally / ERP): Purchase, sales, expenses, journal entries Project-wise and cost-center-wise accounting Maintain fixed asset register , depreciation (Companies Act & Income Tax) Track inventory, WIP, consumables, and utilities (basic cost tracking) Monthly bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations 2. Statutory Compliance & Returns Prepare and file: GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation) TDS returns and challans Basic income-tax compliance support (coordination with tax consultant) Maintain proper documentation for: GST audits Notices, replies, reconciliations Ensure timely filings and zero compliance slippage 3. Bank Coordination & Finance Support Coordinate with banks for: Cash Credit / OD operations Statement submission Stock statements & DP calculations Renewal / enhancement documentation Support preparation of: Project reports CMA data Working capital statements Maintain communication with: Bank RM / credit team Chartered Accountant Cost accountant (if applicable) 4. Project & EPC Accounting Support Track project-wise expenses , advances, and recoveries Support billing and milestone-based invoicing Maintain client/vendor ledgers specific to EPC and plant projects Assist in cost vs budget tracking for ongoing projects 5. MIS & Management Reporting Prepare: Monthly P&L summaries Cash flow statements Working capital position Highlight: Payment delays Cost overruns Compliance risks Assist management with data for decision-making , not just bookkeeping Required Skills & QualificationsEducational Qualification B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter preferred Practical experience valued more than degrees Experience 3–7 years of relevant experience Experience in manufacturing / EPC / chemical / process industry preferred Prior exposure to banking coordination is mandatory Technical Skills Strong working knowledge of Tally / accounting ERP GST compliance & reconciliation Basic understanding of: Depreciation Working capital Project accounting MS Excel (working level – statements, reconciliations) Behavioural Traits (Very Important) High ownership mindset Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities Can follow up with banks, consultants, and vendors firmly but professionally Disciplined, structured, and documentation-oriented Able to work closely with promoter/director What This Role Is NOT This is not a passive data-entry role This is not limited to CA-office-style return filing only This role sits at the intersection of operations, finance, and compliance Growth Opportunity Exposure to: Project finance Plant economics Bank negotiations Strategic financial planning Potential to grow into: Finance Controller Commercial Manager CFO-track role in a growing process-industry platform Compensation Competitive, based on experience Performance-linked incentives possible
