Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation

Operate automatic/semi-automatic labelling machines as per production schedules.
Ensure correct label placement, orientation, and adhesion on bottles/cans.
Adjust machine settings for speed, alignment, and label size as needed.

Quality & Accuracy

Inspect bottles/cans for label quality, alignment, and printing defects.
Ensure that the correct label is applied to the right product/SKU.
Immediately report any labeling or machine issues to the supervisor.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine cleaning, minor maintenance, and lubrication of labelling machines.
Assist maintenance team in resolving breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
Maintain logs of production, machine performance, and downtime.

Production Support

Coordinate with upstream and downstream production teams for smooth workflow.
Ensure continuous supply of labels and related materials.
Minimize wastage of labels and maintain inventory records.

Qualifications & Skills

Education
:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Packaging Technology preferred.
Experience
:
1-3 years experience operating labelling machines in a beverage/FMCG packaging plant.
Knowledge of both glass/PET bottles and can labeling is a plus.
Skills
:
Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.
Attention to detail and quality focus.
Ability to follow SOPs, GMP, and EHS guidelines.
Teamwork and good communication skills.
