Job Description: Textile Application Lab – Wet Processing Executive Position: Textile Application Lab – Wet Processing Executive Location: Thane Department: Application Lab / R&D Experience: 2-5 years (preferred) Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. / B.Tech / B.Text in Textile Chemistry, Textile Technology, or related fields Preferred Institutes additional courses : SASMIRA, BTRA, Textile Committee, SGS, or other recognized textile institutions Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Wet Processing Executive to join our Textile Application Lab. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in textile dyeing, scouring, and finishing processes across various substrates such as cotton, polyester, viscose, and blends. The role requires a deep understanding of wet processing techniques and familiarity with advanced laboratory and industrial equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Execute and optimize dyeing, scouring, and finishing processes for different textile substrates. • Operate and maintain lab-scale and pilot-scale machinery, including: • HTHP (High-Temperature High-Pressure) Dyeing Machines • Padding Mangle • Spectrophotometer and Color Matching Systems • Conduct trials and evaluations for new products and process improvements in line with customer requirements. • Perform quality testing and analysis of processed fabrics using standard test methods. • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation for lab operations. • Collaborate with the R&D and technical teams to troubleshoot processing issues and recommend solutions. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols. • Prepare detailed reports, including process parameters, observations, and recommendations. • Provide technical support and training to customers regarding processing techniques and product applications. Key Skills and Competencies: • Strong understanding of textile chemistry and processing techniques for various substrates. • Hands-on experience with textile wet processing machinery and laboratory equipment. • Proficiency in operating and interpreting data from a spectrophotometer for color matching. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in a textile application lab, production unit, or R&D environment. • Knowledge of sustainable processing methods and eco-friendly textile chemicals. • Familiarity with textile testing standards such as ISO, AATCC, and ASTM.
