Job Description

Role & responsibilities - Lab Programmer (CSE Dept) Assist students during lab sessions by providing programming and technical support. Ensure proper functioning of lab systems, software, and networking infrastructure . Provide hands-on support to students in writing, debugging, and executing programs. Monitor lab usage, student attendance , and ensure adherence to lab rules and safety protocols. Coordinate with the IT team or vendors for timely troubleshooting and repairs . Maintain inventory of lab equipment, systems, and software licenses . Assist in setting up lab environments as per the academic timetable and practical syllabus . Keep the lab clean, organized, and ready for use during scheduled sessions. Provide basic technical training or orientation to new students if required. Preferred candidate profile Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology , or a related field. 03 years of experience in a similar lab support or technical assistant role (freshers with strong technical skills can also apply). Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python , etc. Familiarity with lab setup, OS installation , and basic networking and system troubleshooting . Comfortable working with students and faculty in an academic environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple lab sessions as per the academic timetable. Candidates residing nearby or willing to relocate to the college campus preferred.
