Job Overview :

We are looking for a Senior L7 Routing Engineer with expert-level experience in application-layer routing, microservices communication, and proxy-based traffic control.This role focuses on designing high-performance, reliable L7 routing systems for distributed platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced L7 routing logic for microservices environments.
  • Develop routing components using Go, focusing on high performance and scalability.
  • Integrate routing mechanisms with reverse proxies and traffic-handling frameworks.
  • Work with HTTP/REST, service discovery, and API-driven architecture patterns.
  • Build and deploy containerized systems using Docker and cloud-native tooling.
  • Contribute to distributed system software design and architecture.
  • Integrate routing and proxy systems with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
  • Implement observability instrumentation for routing flows.
  • Support CI/CD automation for routing and configuration deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Mandatory: Deep expertise in L7 routing, proxies, and traffic-control patterns.
  • Advanced Go programming experience.
  • Strong understanding of HTTP/REST, microservices architecture, and service discovery.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
  • Strong software design and architecture experience.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
  • CI/CD automation experience.
  • Familiarity with observability tools (metrics, logs, tracing)
