Job Description

As an experienced L3 Network Engineer/Administrator with 5-8 years of expertise, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures. Your role will involve advanced network troubleshooting, optimization, and network security to ensure seamless network connectivity and customer-centric problem-solving. Ideally, you will have experience in a Managed Service Provider environment. Your key responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure. You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve escalated network issues to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, configuring and managing network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls will be a part of your daily tasks. Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior network engineers will also be crucial, along with monitoring and maintaining network security by implementing solutions to mitigate risks effectively. In terms of technical skills, you should be proficient in advanced TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, MPLS, and VPN. Familiarity with high-end routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers is essential. Knowledge of software such as Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, Palo Alto PAN-OS, SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, DataDog, and BigPanda is required. Proficiency in protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, RSTP, VRRP, and experience with security tools like Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, etc.), IDS/IPS, VPNs, and monitoring tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, NetFlow, and PRTG will be beneficial. This is a full-time position, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred for this role. The ideal candidate should have a total of 5 years of work experience. The work location is in person.,
