7+ years of experience focused on Network Support, configuration, and implementation. 7+ years of experience in core switching, routing, MPLS, and Firewalls Networking and security architecture and engineering support experience across local, regional, and global domains, Ability to effectively execute multiple IT projects and deadlines with limited supervision. Mandatory Experience in WAF F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager) Skills 1. Core Concepts Understanding load balancing methods (L2) Knowledge of TCP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, and other network protocols. (L3) Virtual servers, pools, nodes, and monitors. (L2) 2. Configuration and Management Setting up and managing traffic policies. (L2) Configuring health monitors to check the status of backend servers. (L2) Implementing SSL offloading and re-encryption. (L3) Troubleshooting and debugging traffic issues using tools like tcpdump. (L3) 3. Advanced Features Mastery of iRules and iRule LX for traffic manipulation. (L3) Understanding SNAT, NAT, and VLAN configurations. (L2) High Availability (HA) setup and failover management. (L2) Caching, compression, and connection pooling. (L3) F5 ASM/WAF Skills it is must for L3 role. 1. Core Concepts Web application firewall principles and functioning. (L3) OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies. (L3) 2. Security Policy Management Configuring and tuning ASM security policies. (L3) Whitelisting/blacklisting traffic patterns. (L2) Applying learning mode to optimize security settings. (L2) 3. Threat Mitigation Protecting against attacks like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF. (L3) Enabling DDoS protection and Bot Defense. (L2) Implementing IP reputation and geolocation-based blocking. (L2) 4.
