Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform 24x7 monitoring of critical applications, services, and batch jobs using monitoring tools
Execute basic SQL queries for data validation, issue tagging, and report generation as per standard procedures.
Handle service requests & design basic SQL queries.
Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests using a ticketing tool.

Conduct system health checks and routine validations as part of shift

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Strong knowledge of SQL / DB2 and ability to analyse data issues.
Experience with Unix/Linux environment, shell scripting, and batch process monitoring.
Proficiency in job scheduling & Cron monitoring
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational night shifts and support BAU operations.
