L1 Engineers in mobile networking

1. Design and Implementation:
Designing DSL network architectures to meet specific business needs. Installing and configuring DSLAMs (Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexers), routers, and other network equipment. Implementing and maintaining network security protocols, including firewalls and VPNs. Collaborating with other IT teams on network deployments and upgrades. 2. Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Monitoring network performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues. Troubleshooting connectivity problems, including DSL line quality issues and equipment malfunctions. Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and security patches. Managing network inventory and ensuring proper documentation of network configurations. 3. Network Security:Implementing and maintaining network security policies and procedures.Monitoring network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities.Ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. 4. Collaboration and Communication:Working with service providers to install and maintain DSL circuits. Collaborating with other IT teams on projects and network deployments. Communicating effectively with users and stakeholders regarding network status and issues. 5. Other Responsibilities:Staying up-to-date on the latest DSL technologies and industry trends.Developing and implementing network documentation and standard operating procedures.Participating in network planning and budgeting activities. Skills and Qualifications:Strong understanding of DSL technology and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with DSLAMs, routers, and other network equipment.Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.Familiarity with network security concepts and technologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA) are often preferred.
