KYC Operations Specialist

Role Overview: As a KYC/Fraud Operations Specialist at Rippling, you will be a key member of the team responsible for conducting KYC reviews and fraud investigations for new and existing customers. Your primary focus will be on customer onboarding, KYC refresh, fraud monitoring, and ensuring compliance with Rippling's AML/KYC policies. Your role will also involve communicating directly with customers, analyzing customer details, and maintaining detailed records to demonstrate compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct KYC reviews and fraud investigations for new and existing customers - Analyze customer details and documentation to ensure compliance with AML/KYC policies - Review key customer attributes to detect high fraud risk signals and investigate potential fraud risk exposure - Perform due diligence on new and existing customers - Communicate directly with customers to facilitate the KYC/Fraud Investigation processes - Identify and escalate suspicious documentation or activity - Identify potentially prohibited or high fraud risk customers for escalation - Source customer data from public sources - Ensure KYC follow-up and completion as per SLA frameworks - Build relationships with cross-functional teams - Incorporate feedback from QA team - Work in a US EST/PST Time Zone shift to collaborate with relevant stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2+ years of KYC and fraud related experience preferred - Familiarity with AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines - Prior work experience at a bank or Fintech is a plus - BA/BS degree - Exceptional attention to detail - Strong time management and organizational skills - Ability to execute tasks at high speed (Note: The additional details about working in the EST/PST shift and being based onsite in the Bangalore office have been omitted as they are specific to Rippling's working policies.),
