Kitchen Stewarding Manager

You will be responsible for managing the daily kitchen utility operations and staff at Udaipur Marriott Hotel, Tiger Hills Badi Road Hawala Khurd, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, 313001. This includes overseeing dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning, banquet plating, and food running. Your role will involve supervising kitchen employees who are not actively engaged in cooking, such as dishwashers and kitchen helpers. Your primary goal will be to enhance guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to the operating budget. To qualify for this position, you should have a high school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in procurement, food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major along with 2 years of relevant experience will be considered. Your core responsibilities will include: - Managing day-to-day kitchen operations by ordering and managing necessary supplies, scheduling events and activities, monitoring material inflow, conducting inventories, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. - Leading the kitchen team by providing guidance, supervising employees, setting performance standards, and fostering a collaborative work environment. - Ensuring exceptional customer service by emphasizing guest satisfaction, maintaining quality standards, and striving for continuous improvement. - Managing human resource activities by recruiting, training, providing feedback, and addressing employee concerns or issues.
