KITCHEN MASTER FOR COLLEGE CAMPUS

Job Summary: The Kitchen Master Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and supervising the preparation of high-quality, nutritious, and diverse meals for college students and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in institutional or large-scale food service, strong leadership skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. Key Responsibilities: Menu Planning: Design daily and weekly menus that are balanced, affordable, and appealing to a diverse student and staff population. Meal Preparation: Supervise and participate in the preparation of meals, ensuring food is cooked safely, hygienically, and according to dietary standards. Team Leadership: Lead and train kitchen staff, assign daily duties, and ensure efficient kitchen workflow. Quality Control: Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation to ensure consistency and satisfaction. Hygiene & Safety: Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety in compliance with FSSAI (India) or relevant local health guidelines. Inventory & Budget Management: Oversee food inventory, minimize waste, and ensure cost-effective purchasing in coordination with the canteen or hostel manager. Customer Service: Address feedback from students and staff and adjust menus and services accordingly. ✅ Qualifications: Diploma or Certification in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management or equivalent. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a professional kitchen or institutional catering. Experience with large-volume cooking preferred (e.g., hostels, corporate cafeterias, hospitals). Strong knowledge of various cuisines (South Indian, North Indian, Continental, etc.).
