Job Summary: The School/College Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students, staff, and school/college materials between designated locations. The driver must adhere to all traffic laws and ensure a safe, comfortable, and punctual journey. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate school/college vehicles, including buses, vans, or cars, according to scheduled routes and timings. Transport students, faculty, and staff to and from school/college and other approved destinations. Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for daily use; report any mechanical issues promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and proper functioning. Follow all traffic regulations, safety rules, and school/college policies. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents. Assist students in boarding and alighting the vehicle safely. Respond calmly and effectively in case of emergencies or accidents. Coordinate with school/college administration regarding schedules, changes, and special events. Keep confidential all information related to students and staff. Qualifications: Valid driving license suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., commercial license for buses). Proven driving experience, preferably with experience in driving school or college vehicles. Clean driving record with no major violations. Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes. Ability to communicate politely and effectively with students, staff, and parents. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours as per school/college schedule.
