Job Title: Utility / Dishwasher

Location: Café Khoblu

Reporting To: Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor

Role Overview

* Responsible for cleaning utensils, kitchen equipment, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness

* Support smooth kitchen operations by ensuring timely availability of clean tools and work areas

* Assist with basic utility tasks as required

Key Responsibilities

1. Dishwashing and Cleaning

* Wash and sanitise all utensils, plates, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment

* Ensure proper use of detergents, sanitisers, and cleaning procedures

* Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, racks, and drains

* Ensure timely return of clean utensils to kitchen and service areas

2. Kitchen Cleanliness and Support

* Clean kitchen floors, walls, shelves, exhaust areas, and waste bins as per schedule

* Support daily cleaning checklists and weekly deep-cleaning routines

* Assist chefs and helpers with cleaning tasks during and after service

* Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and common workspaces

3. Hygiene, Safety, and Compliance

* Maintain personal hygiene, grooming, and uniform standards

* Follow FSSAI food safety and hygiene guidelines

* Segregate waste properly and follow waste disposal procedures

* Handle hot utensils, sharp tools, and cleaning chemicals safely

4. Inventory and Utility Support

* Assist in handling and organising clean utensils and equipment

* Inform supervisors about broken, damaged, or missing items

* Support basic utility work such as refilling water, cleaning mats, and moving supplies

5. Equipment Handling and Maintenance

* Use dishwashers and cleaning equipment correctly if applicable

* Report malfunctioning equipment or plumbing issues immediately

* Support routine cleaning and basic maintenance tasks

6. Discipline and Teamwork

* Follow instructions from chefs and supervisors

* Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professionalism

* Work cooperatively with kitchen and service staff

* Contribute to a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
