Job Description

Lead all warehouse and logistics operations covering inbound, picking, packing, outbound, and returns Coordinate with different departments for customized business proposal and develop a strong sales pipeline to support the sales development plan and surpassing set targets for our Ecommerce business . Having good operational excellence across one or multiple e-commerce Warehouse s.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop current Ecommerce business.
  • Retention, development & deep selling on existing accounts.
  • Performance reviews on Monthly basis with customer and virtual team to ensure proper service fulfilment as per agreed contract terms.
  • Lead all warehouse and logistics operationscovering inbound, picking, packing, outbound, and returns.
  • Set and drive SLAs and operational KPIs across the cluster, meeting customer expectations.
  • Implement process improvements via Lean methodologies and drive continuous reduction in inefficiencies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers, Area Managers, and front-line supervisors.
  • Own recruitment, performance management, promotions, and employee engagement.
  • Build leadership bench strength and foster accountability across the site.
  • Manage budgets with responsibility for P&L, identifying cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
  • Drive long-term operational planning to optimally align resources with business goals.
  • Quickly resolving open issues
  • Monitor and drive continuous improvement to ensure efficiency in process operation.
  • VAS Activities-ensuring existing book of business with customer is enhanced through
  • new / additional business
  • Implement operational initiatives which support proactive or exception management.
  • Standardization of process across India as per customer SOP/Agreement
  • Regular KPI review, timely renewal of agreements and update of SOP and vendor engagement.
  • Customer satisfaction through impeccable execution, delivery should be monitored, should provide regions with the feedback from customer and ensure service gaps addressed and reviewed periodically.
  • To liaison with the regional operations teams for adherence of overall operational efficiencies for effective service delivery levels.
  • Financials
  • Ensuring regions bill on time and outstanding cleared by due dates - working towards bill discounting, reduction of credit periods if possible to reduce credit cycle, escalations on frequent delayed payments.
  • Work with Regional head and customers to have healthy financials by deep selling.
  • Maintaining proper records of documents & outstanding statement of every Customer.
  • Share weekly/bi-weekly AR details to customer and review booking details.
  • Analysis of MIS & TAT reports, monthly billing Reports.
  • Review and maintain correct record of payment through discounting programs and shared details to AR team timely.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must have 10 - 12 years of work experience with 3PL Contract Logistics industry and handling Ecommerce clients .
  • Proven experience in e-commerce Fulfillment Center operationsdemonstrated ability to manage fast-paced, high-volume environments.
  • Strong operational capabilities in Lean, Six Sigma, and performance metrics.
  • Experience managing staffing, including full life-cycle hiring, performance coaching, and managing contingent/peak-season workforce.
  • Comfortable working flexible hoursincluding nights, weekends, and peak periods.
  • Process / Operational Excellence
  • Supervised and analyzed accounts receivables activity.
  • Should be an aggressive go-getter with high energy levels and must have an inherent hunger for sales
  • Must have the ability to create, develop and sustain relationships at the levels at prospective client companies.
  • One should possess good communication skills, Analytical, negotiation, behavioral and presentation skills.
  • Open to travel in short notice.
