About the Role

Junior Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using
Java
and
Big Data frameworks
.
Work closely with senior engineers to design and implement data processing pipelines and backend systems.
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Preferred: Tier 1 University).
1–3 years of experience
in software development with strong programming skills in
Java
.
Exposure to
Big Data technologies
such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, or related tools.
Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and version control systems (Git).
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills
.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Immediate availability
to join preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with less than 1 year of experience may also be considered if they demonstrate strong coding skills and passion for technology.
Prior internship or project experience in Big Data or backend development is a plus.
