Junior Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Site Engineer (Civil) to assist with on-site project execution and coordination. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of civil engineering principles, be eager to learn, and ready to contribute to the smooth execution of construction activities as per design specifications, timelines, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day site supervision and monitoring of construction activities
• Ensure work is being executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure timely progress
• Measure and record daily site activities, material usage, and labor deployment
• Assist in preparing reports, checklists, and documentation related to site work
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations on site
• Conduct basic quantity surveying and material estimation
• Report discrepancies or issues to the senior engineer or site manager promptly

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience (freshers may apply)
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site processes
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work at project sites and adapt to field conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or training experience on a civil construction site
• Knowledge of local construction codes and standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
