Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities Junior Safety Officer (Construction / Infrastructure / MEP)

Assist in implementing and monitoring site safety policies and procedures.
Conduct daily safety inspections and report unsafe practices or conditions.
Support in hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA).
Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all workers.
Conduct toolbox talks and basic safety training for site workers.
Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, hot work, and confined space.
Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documents, checklists, and reports.
Support in accident/incident reporting and investigation.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain safe working conditions.
Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and client safety standards.
Display and maintain safety signages, barricades, and emergency equipment at site.
Participate in internal and external safety audits.
Report safety violations immediately to the Safety Engineer / HSE Manager.
