The role ensures accurate quantity take-offs, client & subcontractor billing, and cost control for smooth project execution. Roles & Responsibilities: Quantity Surveying (QS): Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), quantity take-offs, and cost estimates from drawings and specifications. Monitor material consumption vs. budget and track variances. Evaluate subcontractor quotations and assist in finalization. Conduct rate analysis for new/extra items. Support project team in budget preparation, cash flow, and cost planning . Billing Engineer: Prepare and verify RA Bills (Running Account Bills) for clients and subcontractors. Maintain proper measurement books with site records. Check work progress measurements for billing and certification. Coordinate with clients/consultants for bill certification & approvals . Verify and certify subcontractor bills as per work executed. Ensure bills are supported with drawings, measurements, and QA/QC documents. General Responsibilities: Maintain updated records of revisions, extra works, claims, and variations . Assist Project Manager in cost control, budgeting, and forecasting . Liaise with procurement for material reconciliation. Ensure all billing & QS activities are done in compliance with contract conditions . Generate MIS reports on billing, cost, and progress for management. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and billing procedures . Hands-on experience in measurement techniques (Civil & MEP works) . Familiar with contracts & tendering process . Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera . Attention to detail, accuracy in billing, and strong documentation skills. Good communication & negotiation skills for dealing with clients and subcontractors.
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee and manage all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting (MEPF) works for a high-rise residential apartment project. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure timely delivery of MEP systems as per design, quality, cost, and safety standards. Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage MEP design, execution, testing, and commissioning activities for high-rise building projects. Review and coordinate MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs with architectural and structural teams. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and green building/energy efficiency standards. Manage subcontractors/vendors, monitor progress, and resolve technical/site execution challenges. Prepare and monitor project schedules for MEP works; track milestones and highlight risks/delays. Conduct value engineering to optimize MEP systems for cost-effectiveness and sustainability. Perform quality checks and inspections of installation works. Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP services including documentation and O&M manuals. Liaise with consultants, architects, and client representatives for approvals and project updates. Ensure proper integration of services in high-rise towers (HVAC shafts, electrical risers, plumbing shafts, fire-fighting lines, etc.).
