Junior Quality Analyst

As a Quality Analyst at Primotech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high quality of our products and services through meticulous testing and defect identification. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing functional, regression, and integration testing on software applications/systems to detect defects/issues. - Creating and executing test cases/test plans according to project requirements. - Documenting and tracking defects/issues using bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla for prompt resolution. - Collaborating with software developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand project needs and ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Participating in requirement analysis, design reviews, and sprint planning meetings to offer valuable quality input. - Contributing to the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies. - Staying updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging testing tools. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance/testing positions. - Profound knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. - Hands-on experience in test case/test plan creation, execution, and defect tracking. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, and version control systems like Git. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic work environment.
