Junior Project Manager

Role Overview: You will work with a team of hands-on architects to build modern Insurtech AI underpinned solutions for internal and external customers. As a Junior Project Manager, you will support project delivery across the Xceedance insurance ecosystem under the guidance of senior project managers. Your focus will be on learning project management fundamentals while managing small projects or assisting with larger initiatives. This role will help you develop skills in planning, execution, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities: - Support senior project managers with project planning and execution activities, assisting in requirements gathering, scope definition, and resource planning. - Coordinate project activities across development teams, QA teams, business stakeholders, and vendors ensuring alignment and timely completion. - Maintain project documentation including project charters, requirements documents, meeting notes, and status reports. - Track dependencies and identify potential conflicts or blockers, escalating to senior project managers. - Assist with risk identification and issue tracking, documenting concerns and proposing mitigation strategies. Qualification Required: - Understanding of project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closing), basic scheduling and task management, dependency tracking, scope management, and change control basics. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), understanding of sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, Waterfall methodology basics, and hybrid approaches. - Proficiency in project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Microsoft Project, and Excel. - Clear written and verbal communication skills, active listening, meeting facilitation basics, and presentation development. - Basic understanding of insurance business processes, regulatory environment, and common insurance terminology.
