Junior Planning Engineer

Job Purpose

To assist the Manager in developing, monitoring and updating MEP project schedules, progress reports, and coordination plans to ensure timely project delivery and proper resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in preparation and updating of project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.

· Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing teams to collect daily/weekly progress updates.

· Support in preparation of weekly and monthly progress dashboard reports.

· Maintain records of approved drawings, material submissions, and site progress.

· Monitor site activities and highlight delays or critical issues to the planning team.

· Assist in preparing look-ahead schedules, manpower histograms, and progress curves.

· Support the preparation of delay analysis reports and recovery schedules when required.

· Ensure planning documents and project controls data are properly archived.

Skills & Qualifications

· B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering.

· 1 - 3 years of experience in MEP or construction planning.

· Basic knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Excel (knowledge of MS Project is an added advantage).

· Familiar with construction drawings, BOQ, and MEP sequencing.

· Good communication, analytical, and reporting skills.

Compensation

· Salary: Based on experience and capability.

Work Schedule

· 6 days per week (Sunday off)

· Working hours: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

· Project-based site visits as required.
