Junior Network Engineer

As a Network Support Technician, your role will involve various responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the network infrastructure. You will be assisting in monitoring network performance, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and contributing to regular maintenance tasks such as updates and patches. Additionally, you will learn to configure routers, switches, and firewalls under senior guidance and assist in setting up network connections. Participating in the implementation of basic security measures, documenting network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures, and providing basic network-related support to end-users are also key aspects of your role. It is important to actively engage in training sessions to enhance technical skills, collaborate with senior engineers on projects, and stay informed about the latest industry trends in networking technologies. Your skills should include a solid understanding of fundamental networking concepts, familiarity with network protocols, basic knowledge of network hardware, troubleshooting skills, network security basics, documentation abilities, clear communication, attention to detail, adaptability, time management, teamwork, problem-solving, learning agility, ethical understanding, and good customer service.
