Junior Fleet Accountant

As a global leader in ship management and marine services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for each vessel under your responsibility at V. Group. Your primary responsibility will be to produce timely, accurate, and meaningful management reports for in-house departments and vessel owners. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain an up-to-date general ledger for a fleet of 7-8 vessels - Prepare and review vessel financial data, ensuring proper authorization and coding - Prepare all funding requests to ensure vessels are adequately funded for timely settlements - Ensure timely preparation of reports for clients - Liaise with Vessel Financial Controller and other departments to explain budget variances - Support the Vessel Financial Controller with any additional necessary duties Qualifications Required: - Full-time graduation in Commerce - 0-1 years of experience in accounting processes (an added advantage) - Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel skills - Excellent accounting knowledge - Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal - Good interpersonal and business skills - Ability to work independently in a team environment - Strong organizational and time management skills - Analytical approach with good problem-solving skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, pivot table, etc.) In return, V.
