Role Summary
We are a global organization with operations across multiple countries and six subsidiaries. We are looking for a Junior Executive - Global Banking & Finance Operations to support day-to-day banking, payment, and accounting activities across entities. The role involves executing payments, coordinating with internal teams and external banks, supporting statutory and regulatory compliance, and ensuring accurate accounting and reconciliation across geographies. This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional with strong fundamentals and a keen interest in global finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Global Banking & Payment Operations
- Initiate vendor, intercompany, and statutory payments through various
global bank portals
as per approved schedules - Prepare and circulate
payment advices
to vendors and internal stakeholders across geographies - Track payment status, follow up on pending or failed transactions, and coordinate resolutions with banks
- Support foreign currency payments and assist in tracking FX-related transactions
Cross-Functional & Global Coordination
- Collaborate with
Accounts Payable and Finance teams
across multiple subsidiaries - Coordinate with
global and local bank teams
to ensure smooth transaction processing - Support communication with vendors across different countries and time zones
Accounting & Reconciliations
- Tag
collections and receipts
against corresponding invoices in the accounting system - Pass accounting entries for
other income
, including interest income and mutual fund-related income - Support bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts across subsidiaries
Statutory, Tax & Regulatory Support
- Support processing of
statutory payments
such as TDS, GST, withholding tax, and similar local taxes across countries - Ensure timely execution of statutory payments to avoid penalties or compliance issues
- Assist in maintaining documentation for
ODI and other cross-border compliance
requirements
Controls, Audit & Process Support
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all banking and payment transactions
- Support internal, statutory, and external audits by providing required data and explanations
- Assist in documenting and following
SOPs for global banking and finance operations

Identify operational gaps and suggest process improvements in global workflows
Skills & Competencies
Technical / Functional Skills
- Fundamental understanding of
accounting principles

Basic understanding of TDS, withholding tax, and statutory payments
(process-level knowledge is sufficient) - Familiarity with bank portals and domestic / international payment mechanisms
- Basic understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in a multi-entity environment
Behavioral / Soft Skills
- Good communication and coordination skills, especially in a
global working environment

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in banking operations, accounts payable, or finance operations
- Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals are welcome to apply
