Junior Business Development Executive (BDE) – Fresher to 1 Year Experience in SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRY

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Business Development Executive to support our sales and bidding activities. This role is ideal for someone with 0 to 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Web & Software Development company, with a strong focus on bidding platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, or similar.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, drafting winning proposals, and coordinating with internal teams to meet client expectations. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in a fast-paced environment with mentorship and hands-on learning.

Requirements:

  • 0 to 1 year of experience in Business Development or bidding in the IT/software industry.
  • Familiarity with Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or similar bidding platforms.
  • Strong written communication skills to draft clear and effective proposals.
  • Basic understanding of web and software development services (websites, apps, custom solutions).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a target-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on bidding portals like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and others to identify and respond to new business opportunities.
  • Prepare customized and persuasive proposals and cover letters as per client requirements.
  • Draft and send professional email pitches to prospective clients to initiate conversations and generate interest.
  • Collaborate with senior BDEs and developers to understand technical aspects and tailor proposals accordingly.
  • Maintain a pipeline of potential leads and follow up regularly for conversion.
  • Update and manage CRM or bidding platform dashboards with leads, communications, and status updates.
  • Assist in basic client communication and requirement gathering via chat or calls.
  • Research industry trends, client profiles, and competitors to support the bidding process.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in using LinkedIn for lead generation.
  • Ability to coordinate with developers for technical inputs.

Basic knowledge of sales or CRM tools.
