Junior Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Learning and Development:

  • Participate in structured training on bid management processes, IT services, and industry best practices.
  • Gain exposure to

    AI-powered research, proposal generation, and automation tools

    to assist in bid development.
  • Shadow senior business development and bid professionals to understand end-to-end processes.

Bid Identification and Research:

  • Learn how to monitor bid portals, government tenders, and market intelligence platforms for new opportunities.
  • Use AI tools (e.g.,

    ChatGPT, Clay, ZoomInfo, SignalHire

    ) to support research on potential clients and projects.

Documentation and Proposal Preparation:

  • Assist in drafting and organizing proposal content, learning to use

    AI-assisted writing tools

    to improve structure and clarity.
  • Help maintain and update a digital repository of templates, past bids, and reusable content using document management systems.

Coordination and Team Support:

  • Support communication between departments (technical, finance, legal) for input on proposals.
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking bid milestones using project management tools integrated with

    AI assistants

Pricing and Cost Estimation:

  • Support basic cost analysis and assist with pricing templates.
  • Work with finance to understand cost structures and how

    AI tools can assist in pricing simulations

    and model creation.

Compliance and Quality Control:

  • Learn compliance best practices for IT bid submissions.
  • Use automated tools to assist with proofreading, consistency checks, and compliance verification.

Bid Submission and Follow-up:

  • Assist in organizing and submitting final bid packages on time.
  • Learn to use CRM and AI-driven engagement platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Apollo) for tracking follow-ups and communications.

Market and Competitor Awareness:

  • Help gather market intelligence using AI-enabled research platforms.
  • Contribute to basic competitor analysis to support bid strategy and positioning.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and their applications in business development.
  • Familiarity with basic tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and a willingness to learn

    AI-enhanced platforms

    (e.g., Notion AI, ChatGPT, Jasper).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
  • Curious mindset with a willingness to learn about IT services, including cloud, software, cybersecurity, and managed services.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
