Junior Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant Company: Ornato Services Location: Connaught Place, New Delhi Industry: Hospitality Job Summary: Ornato Services is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or service industry. The role involves day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoice processing, and supporting senior accountants with monthly closings and audits. Key Responsibilities: ● Maintain accurate books of accounts including data entries in Tally or other accounting software. ● Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable. ● Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements. ● Prepare and verify financial documents, bills, and invoices. ● Handle petty cash transactions and daily cash reconciliation. ● Coordinate with internal teams and vendors regarding financial matters. ● Assist with GST, TDS filing, and other statutory compliances. ● Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closings. ● Maintain proper documentation and filing of all finance records. Requirements: ● Educational Qualification: B.Com or equivalent in Accounting/Finance. ● Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in accounting roles (hospitality sector experience preferred). ● Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting principles. ● Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ● Good communication and organizational skills. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Basic understanding of taxation (GST, TDS) and statutory requirements.
