Junior Accountant-Offshore Accounting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting operations, with a primary focus on US GAAP and compliance with US accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be familiar with accounting principles and practices in the US and will assist in managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting audits and month-end closings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP
• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries
• Assist in bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations
• Help prepare financial statements and reports as needed
• Ensure all accounting activities comply with internal controls and company policies
• Work with external auditors during financial and tax audits
• Maintain and update documentation of accounting procedures
• Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Xero) for data entry and reporting
• Assist in preparing tax returns and filings in coordination with external tax advisors

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships included)
• Basic understanding of US GAAP and accounting practices
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting function

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
