Junior Accountant (MALE)

RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

We are looking for a Junior Accountant (Male) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in petty cash management, Tally, Tally ERP, and cash handling. This role involves managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting accounting functions.

· Maintain and reconcile petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

· Process cash payments and receipts, ensure proper record-keeping, and reconcile cash balances.

· Record financial transactions in Tally ERP, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy.

· Process invoices, payments, and collections in a timely manner.

· Verify and reconcile bank statements with company records.

· Monitor and report business expenses, ensuring cost control.

· Assist in tax calculations, filings, and compliance with financial regulations.

· Maintain proper documentation and support audits when required. Processes payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers, employee reimbursements, and statements.

· Calculates rates paid for purchases and all price extensions.

· Enters, updates, and/or retrieves accounting data from automated systems.

· Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions.

· Reviews on-line transactions for changes and accuracy and corrects errors.

· Disburses funds using manual/local warrants or petty cash and makes change according to specific instructions.

· Endorses warrants or money orders, prepares account deposit ticket, and deposits money as directed.

· Reconciling finance accounts. Maintaining spreadsheets

· Cash allocation

· Handling and writing cheques. Receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment. Managing petty cash transactions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
