Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary:
i9 Freeways Private Limited, a growing company in the Road Construction Sector is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks including transaction recording, project expense tracking, and financial reporting. This role supports the accurate and efficient management of financial operations related to our ongoing construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions
• Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and vendor payments
• Track project-related costs, materials, and site expenses
• Prepare and maintain financial records and basic reports
• Support month-end and year-end financial closings
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Coordinate with site and project teams for cost validation and reporting
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles; experience in construction accounting is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, PreBook)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in coordination with project teams
