Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to overall financial health. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and has a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, billing, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records
• Monitor project budgets and track expenses related to interior design and contracting projects
• Handle GST, TDS, and other tax compliance requirements
• Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and client billing
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and clients on payment follow-ups and invoicing
• Assist in monthly and annual financial closing and audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, standards, and regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience (experience in interior design/construction industry is a plus)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other regulatory requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
