Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Pune. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, including ledger maintenance, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. Additionally, the role involves preparing financial statements, assisting in budget preparation, and ensuring tax compliance. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the senior accounting team to support various financial operations and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, ledger maintenance, and journal entries
• Experience with financial statement preparation and bank reconciliations
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in tax compliance and budget preparation is a plus
