Job Description: The Modern Trade FMCG Sales Promoter is responsible for driving product visibility, availability, and sales within modern trade retail environments such as supermarkets, hypermarkets, and organized retail chains. Their primary objective is to promote the company’s (MAKHANA) products through in-store activities, engaging with customers, and ensuring brand representation in accordance with company standards. Key Responsibilities: Product Promotion: Actively promote MAKHANA (Raw Makhana & Roasted Makhana) products to shoppers through sampling, demonstrations, and product education. Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide product information, and influence purchase decisions. Merchandising: Ensure attractive and compliant product displays, planograms, and shelf layouts. Replenish stock as needed. Sales Support: Achieve daily/weekly sales targets and track promotions and offers. Retailer Coordination: Work closely with store managers and staff to maintain optimal stock levels and coordinate promotional activities. Reporting: Provide feedback on customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities; submit daily/weekly activity and sales reports. Requirements: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Customer-oriented mindset with persuasive selling abilities. Basic knowledge of FMCG products and retail operations in Modern Trade Prior experience in modern trade or retail sales is preferred. Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced retail environments.
