Junior Account Executive

As an Accountant at Akinex Global Supplies, you will play a crucial role in managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the Senior Accountant. Your responsibilities will include: - Recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts and financial documents. - Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts regularly. - Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial records. - Assisting in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Providing financial data to support management decision-making. - Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. - Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. - Tracking and categorizing company expenses for accurate financial reporting. - Assisting in monitoring budgets and preparing financial forecasts. - Supporting the Senior Accountant in ad-hoc financial projects. - Staying updated on accounting best practices and financial software developments. Qualifications & Skills required for this position include: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 2-5 years of accounting experience (internships included). - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or SAP). - Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
